Garden Club Scholarships Are Available

Club Federation Students residing in Adams County, who are planning a career in: agricultural education, horticulture, landscape design, floriculture, forestry, plant pathology, conservation, ecology and related fields, are encouraged to apply for scholarships being offered by the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania and the National Garden Club, Inc. The Gettysburg Garden Club is the sponsor for local applicants.

The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania is offering thirteen scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to high school seniors and college students who meet the above requirements, and are state residents, but may attend college in any state. National Garden Clubs, Inc. is offering multiple $4,000 scholarships to students majoring in fields of study related to horticulture and the environment. These scholarships are available to juniors, seniors and graduate students pursuing a Master’s degree. Sophomores may make application for their junior year.
